Regina Modern District Guild Charity Quilt

Topics: News

QuiltCon, the international quilt show for Modern Guilds, featured a story on the making of a Charity quilt by the Regina District Modern Quilt Guild that was on display at 2018 QuiltCon.  As part of the 2018 show, charity quilts designed and quilted from Guilds all over the world are displayed for everyone to view at no charge.  Each year, the Modern Quilt Guild (umbrella organization that the local modern Guilds fall under) defines a theme and fabric colors to select from.  Lori Tourscher designed the quilt which was named Stars of Saskatchewan.  You should recognize a few faces who worked on the quilt that also belong to the Prairie Piecemakers Quilter's Guild.  This Guild donates quilts to Regina Habitat for Humanity homes.  Well done ladies!
