QuiltCon 2018 Recap

Topics: News

I have been busy attending QuiltCon 2018.  Attending an international quilt show is a great experience I would recommend for all quilters if you have an opportunity to attend.  I met quilters from Alaska, Mexico and Australia besides many from all over Canada and the US.  I attended a few classes which were excellent.  Now to make time at my sewing machine to practice all that I learned.

The quilts were incredible.  The colors, the color combinations, and the free motion quilting was INCREDIBLE.  While I took many pictures I thought I would post here, I am reading many posts from serious bloggers about their visit to QuiltCon.

Amy Smart from A Diary of a Quilter has many of the pictures of the quilts that I enjoyed veiwing.  I would have to say that I am a modern traditionalist if I had to categorize myself, similar to Amy's statement.    Here is Amy's recap.
