Today's post is about an article on Project Atigi (atigi means “parka” in Inuktitut). Mnay of us have heard about Canada Goose parkas that are known to keep a person very warm in extremely cold temperatures, such as the temperature today. Canada Goose commissioned coats from 14 Inuit seamstresses in nine different communities across four Inuit regions in Canada. This project celebrates the original Inuit parka makers. Each piece in the collection tells a different story about the lives of these seamstresses. The workmanwhip and designs are amazing.
