Placemats This year, the Guild donated 152 quilted place mats to RQHR Meals on Wheels program. The Coordinator emphasized that both the clients and the volunteers look forward to the delivery of these beautiful place mats. She said that 1 client has 2 of our place mats, both of which she displays on her wall
Connecting threads I have had a couple inquiries about quilt sizes re: donation quilts from the group, so decided to email everyone.Our budget for Connecting Threads ($1600) is for batting and the flannelette used on the back of the quilts for NICU. NICU- should be 36 – 38 inches square- use flannelette
Exciting New Year Well it is a New Year and a time for new and exciting things.  The executive of the guild is working hard to keep our meeting lively, on time and interesting.  The workshop committee has some great workshops coming up so be sure to check it out at our meeting.  We have a retreat

Banner photo missing As you may have noticed that our banner picture is missing.  I attempted to add a new one and the exsisting one disappeared and the new one won't show up either.  Please bear with me as I work to get it fixed.  It may not be fixed until Monday or Tuesday if I can't figure it out

Traveling quilt show The CQA is putting together a travelling quilt show based on the theme "It's Time for Colour".  40 award winning Canadian quilters have been asked to donate a 12"x16" quilt based on this theme.  The quilts will be divided into two shows and will travel around Canada ending at Quilt Canada
